cuRVe
Under the trend of working from home, more and more people begin to sit on residential chairs not designed for prolonged daily use. The design of this asymmetrical chair, cuRVe, encourages different adaptable postures which can facilitate movement, and unconsciously schedule short breaks in a typical work day.
From the initial idea of combining the sit-up chair with the office chair, to the decision to design the cuRVe chair with organic shape, these sketches contain details of the appearance and internal structure, as well as some specific data to support the practicality of the design. It all comes out as a one-unit chair with an organic form which allows multiple postures.
